Class History

Behold, the goddess of the past has revealed herself to us and the entire world to tell the past events and have taken place among the Seniors of 1966.

With the help of God we boarded our spaceship, “The Gemini Calhoun Rocket.” with a crew of 109 in the year of 1961.

We ventured through space by the name of “Education” and traveled through the “Hemisphere of Knowledge.”

Through the passing of time, on the “Gemini Calhoun Rocket,” we have had many captains serving as advisors in the time of sorrow and despair.  By the help of God and our various advisors, we have nearly completed our mission in space.

We, the Seniors, have passed through many meteor storms that have often occurred in space.  There have also been may rewards and gains in our trip. We have been very successful in various activities, such as sports and fine arts festivals.  The prized was not always ours, but the effort and determination was never futile. Our many feats may not have been prodigious, but they have helped us meet the many adversities that face one in our dynamic space age.

We have lost many on our journey, and now have a crew of only sixty-two.  Slowly, the ship nears the close if its mission in space and will eventually return to earth on graduation day with Mr. R.L. James, as captain of the ship.

Truly, our mission shall not have been in vain, for each Senior has gained a profound and true courage in meeting any vigil that may present itself in our society.

Alumni Team

George Coverson and his team have done an excellent job over the years and will continue to plan our reunions and activities.  Every since our first reunion in 1986, all have been well planned, enjoyable and full of fun.  We all will continue to support them in all their efforts to make our next Reunion even better than the last.  We are all still members of the CCHS Class of 1966 family.  Thank you George and your team for all the good times.
